Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit 250ml
Part Number 992381
A few things to be aware of when it comes to Fuel is that E10 fuel is now here ( 10% ethanol ) we are going to see a lot more carburettor issues if fuel stabilisers are not used. If fuel is left in a fuel can, or in the fuel tank of a machine for more than 1 month, the quality starts to fall away.
The problem with ethanol is it will go back to its natural state after sitting in a can for a while, and its natural state is sugar/ honey. These crystals/gum cannot even be shifted in an ultrasonic cleaner, so if fuel stabiliser is not used the carburettor may have to replaced over and over...
Briggs & Stratton’s Fuel Fit® keeps fuel fresh and protects engines better than ever before. Fuel Fit® not only keeps the carburettor clean for easy starting but now also protects against the corrosive effects of ethanol and maintains fuel stability for up to 3 years. Available in 100ml and 250ml bottles. Suitable for use with straight or premixed petrol.
Today's ethanol-blend fuels can damage engines by attracting moisture. Ethanol readily bonds with atmospheric moisture creating an ethanol-water mix, which is highly corrosive for engine parts. Fuel also begins to degrade almost as soon as you pump it. Gums and varnishes are formed that can stick valves and clog fuel lines and carburettor jets, resulting in severe starting problems, poor engine performance, overheating and fuel leakage.
Mix Ratio: 10ml of Fuel Fit with each litre of of petrol
